Roscrea Primary Care Centre

In collaboration with Van Dijk Architects, McGurk Architects developed this Primary Care Centre from RIBA Stage 3 onwards. The project entailed retrofitting, altering, and extending a protected structure known as The Malt House in Roscrea, County Tipperary.

Spanning three storeys and covering 70,000 square feet, the Primary Care Centre accommodates multiple GP practices and dental surgeries, along with a community pharmacy and various treatment and counselling rooms. This consolidation of medical, nursing, and ancillary services in a single, convenient location allows the HSE to enhance its service delivery.

Designed to meet the highest standards of energy efficiency, the project fully complies with the nZEB ratings outlined in BCAR 2017.
