Granville Eco Park

Dungannon, County Tyrone

Granville Eco Park is Northern Ireland’s first eco park. This groundbreaking development yields eco-credits equivalent to the removal of 16,000 cars from the roads, while providing renewable electricity to power over 8,000 homes. Granville Eco Park creates valuable, renewable products by utilising food waste as a resource. The plant’s Anaerobic Digestor creates a rich Organic Fertiliser called ‘Digestate’ and captures a ‘Biogas’ to generate Renewable Electricity for the National Grid.

McGurk Architects worked closely with the business owners to oversee the development of the modernisation and redevelopment of this site.
