This project entails the establishment of two 50MW energy storage battery plants with the primary goal of enhancing grid stability through the controlled release of electricity. Anticipated outcomes include a reduction of approximately 3.7 million tonnes of CO2 emissions and the generation of sufficient electricity to meet the needs of over 25,000 households. Notably, this initiative marks the inauguration of Northern Ireland's inaugural private battery energy storage facility, marking a significant advancement in renewable energy endeavors.

McGurk Architect’s design features buildings encased in a base of board-marked concrete, complemented by a powder-coated expanded metal cladding enveloping the first floor. This innovative approach effectively conceals essential ventilation equipment located externally, thereby achieving a seamless exterior finish without the need for unsightly vents.
