Clonard ABC

This project involved the refurbishment of a 75 year old electrical substation building to provide a new boxing club facility for Clonard ABC, completed as part of a boxing infrastructure framework for Sport NI. Completed within a tight budget of £218k, the site was transformed into a focal point for youth in the community.

The use of imagery on the metal façade pays homage to the street art and murals which can be found close to the site, and honours the local boxer and Olympic champion Michael Conlon.
