MOYOLA PARK SOCCER CLUB
Founded in 1880 Moyola Park FC were the 1st owners of the Irish Cup defeating Cliftonville 1-0 in the final. Their new home at Mill Meadow on an area of woodland close to the Moyola River is located on the lands of Lady Moyola, widow of Lord Moyola, former Prime Minister of Northern Ireland, James Chichester-Clarke. McGurk Architects were Lead Consultants, Architects and Contract Administrators for the delivery of a new sports pavilion, multi-purpose hall, fitness suite, changing facilities, spectator stand and flood-lit FIFA 2 star 3G artificial playing surface, perimeter fencing, training area and car parking.
