Interests
In a highly successful GAA playing career with his club Erin’s Own Lavey, Colm won an All-Ireland Senior Club Football medal in 1991 (as one of 7 brothers). He won an All-Ireland Senior medal alongside his brother John in 1993 with the Derry Senior Team, and a Sigerson Cup medal with QUB in 1990.
In Hurling, Colm won an Ulster U21 and an Ulster Senior medal with Derry in 2000, playing in the All-Ireland series Quarter Final v Offaly that same year. He has two Combined University Hurling Awards in 1987 and 1988 and played for QUB in the Fitzgibbon Cup Final of 1986 losing narrowly to University College Cork.
He managed the Derry Senior County Hurlers and U21 teams in 2017 and 2018, winning the Nicky Rackard Cup and the U21 Ulster Title in 2017.
