Located on the Clady River near Portglenone the Clady and District’s Angling Club’s raison d’etre involves the protection, restoration and enhancement of salmon population within the river. Part of these works next their new club facilities involved the installation of low-level groynes to retain the introduced substrate from their hatchery.
McGurk Architect’s brief included the new club pavilion, the design and detail of a new footbridge over the river, universally accessible fishing platforms, car parking and pathways construction. The new bridge connects visitors to the Greenlough – Innishrush paths that follow the meandering watercourse.
